University of York branch of UNISON represent a cross section of full and part-time staff across the majority of all departments including Campus Services, Estates, Finance, Support Services and academic departments, Colleges, Facilities Management, IT Services, Library and Archives, Information, Nursery staff and Commercial Services.

UNISON is one of the UK’s largest trade unions, serving more than 1.3 million members. We represents full-time and part-time staff who provide public services, although they may be employed in both the public and private sectors.
